Sardines on Toast

Sardines are one of the best foods for postpartum health! They are high in dietary calcium and contain good quality omega-3 oils, EPA and DHA. Sardines are also a great source of protein which is essential for post birth recovery. 
INGREDIENTS
METHOD
  • 1-2 slices of fresh sourdough or gluten free bread 
  • 5 leaves rocket 
  • 1 can sardines in extra virgin olive oil (mashed)
1. Toast bread.
2. Top with rocket and sardines. Enjoy!
