Nutrient Boosted Popcorn

A plain meal boosted with nutrient rich seaweed. Seaweed is a good source of dietary iodine. If you aren’t able to stomach much food (or take your natal supplement), including seaweed within your diet can assist in supporting your iodine intake. 
INGREDIENTS
METHOD
  • 1 packet popcorn kernels
  • 3-4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) (for cooking) 
  • 1 sheet nori (dried seaweed) 
  • Salt to taste
1.  Cook popcorn kernel as per package instructions. 
2.  Meanwhile, finely dice nori into very small pieces to create a sprinkle for the popcorn. 
3.  Once the popcorn is cooked, remove from heat and place into a large bowl. Mix in the nori and sea salt and enjoy.
